How to Use the Lightning Vent:

Pierce the shrink wrap cover (after shrinking) with the leading edge (sharp point) of the vent.
Push into shrink wrap allowing it to rise up the friction hood until reaching at least 1/8" past the strap.
Close and secure the strap over the shrink wrap on the friction hood and snap into place. No taping required.
