Passive Vent: Shrink Wrap Vent, model DSI-683.
4” X 5” x 1-1/8. Weather-tight, self-adhesive. Black.
This is the MOST VERSATILE Shrink Wrap Vent.
To install, remove the adhesive backing and apply to your clean, shrunken shrink wrap. Then remove the top of the vent, cut out a hole in the shrink wrap, and re-install the top.

The DSI-683B is part of a series of shrink wrap vents that also includes Solar Vents and Wind Vents. These are great for ventilating year round. The DSI-683 Passive Shrink Wrap Vents travel well, so if you are going to transport your boat or equipment, this is the best choice of vents to use. Once you reach your destination, you can swap out some passive vents for wind vents and solar vents.
The DSI683 series vents are made of sturdy polyethylene with maximum UV inhibitors. These are weather tight on a horizontal or vertical surface. The passive vent may be used over your fuel vent (your fuel vent will likely be covered by the shrink wrap) - be sure to watch the shrink wrap video to learn proper installation.
It is recommended that 1 out of 4 vents be Solar Vents, 1 out of 4 vents be Wind Vents, and 2 out of 4 vents be Passive Vents.
