A quality propane shrink wrap gun / heat shrink gun is essential (electric heat guns are insufficient) to ensure the best shrink wrapping results with minimal "melt-through" issues.

 

It takes a sufficient amount of BTU to cause the shrink wrap to shrink, and the heat must be applied properly. The technique is shown in the Shrink Wrap Video segments.
