Industrial shrink wrap customers can attain additional savings if you buy shrink wrap by the full pallet (1 roll size per pallet / no mixing, as less handling helps keep costs down).
Ordering shrink wrap by the pallet load also provides better protection in transit (relative to single rolls shipped by parcel).
Another area of savings occurs with freight costs. Rather than placing several orders for a single roll of shrink wrap and paying freight for each, you can order in bulk to get a lower shipping cost. Consolidating several orders into one can reduce shipping weight by eliminating extra pallets. Also, there is a minimum freight charge to have a freight carrier handle anything, so some extra poundage may make a minimal cost difference.
